Day 1 of the conference has three tracks, the Main track (Room 12, ~ 600p), the Ecosystem track (Room 11, ~ 150p) and the Industry track (Room 10, ~ 120p).
The Ecosystem track hosts a mix of talks by selected communities in the Rust ecosystem and exciting new open-source projects:
Part of the Ecosystem track, the GOSIM Spotlight offers early-stage Rust projects a unique opportunity to shine at RustWeek 2025 and present their work. Finalists will receive travel grant to attend the RustWeek conference. Learn more on the GOSIM Rust Spotlight website.
The industry track features a mixed program with three inspiring talks and two rounds of Expert Tables.
This track is dedicated to decision makers exploring the adoption of Rust in their organisation. Note: the Industry track requires an additional ticket.
The main track offers 16 talks over two days, that covers a variety of topics and has somethings for all audience levels, starters to advanced.
Day 2 of the conference has three tracks, the Main track (Room 12, ~ 600p), the Deep Dive track (Room 11, ~ 150p) and the Rust Project track (Room 10, ~ 120p).
As you might expect from the name, the deepdive track offers advanced and in-depth talks selected from our Call for Proposals.
The main track offers 16 talks over two days, that covers a variety of topics and has somethings for all audience levels, starters to advanced.
The Rust Project track offers talks by the teams of the Rust project.
The Safety-Critical Rust Consortium, backed by the Rust Foundation, aims to foster responsible use of the Rust programming language within safety-critical software.
The meeting is invite-only for members of the consortium. For details see the link below.
On Thursday morning we have 7 workshops to choose from ranging from game development to embedded GUIs.
Thursday May 15, 2025 is the 10 year celebration of Rust 1.0.
We’ll celebrate the occasion with Rust project team members, maintainers, sponsors and community members. The party includes the live release on stage of Rust 1.87!

The RustWeek hackathon hosted by RustNL and kindly sponsored by Zed, offers a day of collaborative coding and a chance to promote your own project!
The Rust All Hands is an event for all members of the Rust project to come together in person to collaborate on the future of Rust.
The RustWeek unconference is an invite-only event for Rust maintainers.
The goal of the unconference is to facilitate maintainers to work together in-person, to collaborate with other maintainer groups and with members of Rust project teams.
Social activities
Starting Monday, and running throughout the week there will be social activities e.g. a city tour, Ferris sticker hunt, bouldering, bowling, laser tag, museum or visiting one of the beautiful cities surrounding Utrecht.
